Wow, how can you say that?  Some of the games on there were the best of their times!  Max Payne was simplyone of the best shoorter I ever played, and the orginal Red Faction has some fantastic physics for its times.  Just becuase their old doesnt make them bad

And no, the list cannot go on forever, because I do not have an infinite collection. And though I doubt you've even played most of these titles, I'm going to add Rise of the Triad just to piss you off.

What I was referring to as bad, games like mafia. As I  remember having this game and not really enjoying it at all. That was like what more than 5 years ago?

Who's forcing you to play anything? Certainly not I.

Mafia's not for everyone. If your tires get shot out, you're screwed (though you can probably limp away, albeit slowly), and not everyone goes for that sort of gameplay. I, on the other hand, loved the premium graphics (even now, they look sweet), era music, vehicle handling and force-feedback system. The only thing it could've used was a larger world and multi-player. Fortunately, the OP asked about single-player titles.

Just got through with my first bit of Overlord, and i ahve to say its damn fun. Not sure whats its classified under but i believe it would be Action adventure. Its fun to destroy things with your minions, and its has  lots of good/bad humor in it.
