I have been playing BF2142 without problems for several months. Two days ago I exit the game standard way. After several minutes I tried to launch game again a nothing happened. I restarted computer but BF2142 still didn't launch. Strange is that I didn't install anything new or changed any configuration.
After I click on BF2124 shortcut EA link is launched and I am successfully logged in. Cursor changes for several seconds to hour-glass and then nothing happens. I still see my desktop. BF2142 doesn't launch, but no error message or any other information is displayed.
I tried almost everything:
I restarted computer several times.
I reinstalled patch 1.25.
I have even uninstalled whole game (including profiles, configs) and installed again.
Still no change :-(. I looked in event log ... no error at all. Do you have any idea what could cause this problem? I am really desperate!
