NEGATORY

bugga, computer restarted itself after about 5 rounds. decided that i would just open up BF2 straight away and join back into the same game i was playing, then it froze after about 30 mins.

My friend says it might be the RAM i have, and that i should take out one of the 1gig sticks and just run the game with one 1 gig stick to see if this solves the problem.

any thoughts on this solution? just wanting to try all the cost free solutions before i go out and buy more parts.

Did you try ATITOOL like I said? Test for artifacts at stock vid card settings? Did you try a reinstall? Some times wiping it clean and reinstalling will magicallly fix some probs. Ram could be a prob Some hardware may not be compatible with each other. I'll try to think of more ideas. GOOD LUCK
