a little story from one of the battles i had last night on my 2nd day of playing
the map (i think) was ins_Sinjar
i spawned, armed with an M4 Aimpoint i sprinted for cover
i looked from my cover to find two insurgents on the top of a hill
i fired a few shots but missed
then i noticed movment from the same hill going downwards
i seen a man hiding behind a truck
as he emerged from his cover, i gave him a double-tap to the head
seeing the blood spurt on the wall, i moved along the road to a mine crater and found a sniper
i moved for a better vantage point but the sniper seen me and killed me
i spawned again and moved,
i found the sniper relocating and gave him another double-tap
i moved along the road encountering no resistance
i came up the hill to find a noobish RPK wielding iraqi and shot him in the heart
i ran into the city and onto a roof
i coudnt see any iraqis but i could see some marines converging on the town
i looked to my right to find 2 iraqis moving towards th hill i came from
i gave them more 3 round bursts and dropped them both
i went round the other corner to find 3 more insurgents and killed 1 before i ran out
i reloaded and went back to find an iraqi
he shot and killed me
so
i think im getting better
its only my 2nd day of playing
since the recoil is so big
my tatic is to fire 3 or 2 round bursts
or a "double-tap" as the SAS call it
