In response to the 'Assault bashing' thread I made this Movie on the Assault Class.
This is my first try using Sony Vegas so be gentle when commenting on the editing, some of it is a bit clumsy.

There's a way you can render the movie using divx in Vegas. I did that, then when I went to upload my movie to stage6, it said it wasn't divx. Even though the movie says divx in the corner. What I had to do was download Dr. Divx via divx.com, and that made the movie divx (again) for me. After that I was able to upload to stage6. There's a video tutorial on how to do it in Vegas, I will see if I can find it.

It's actually easier to find on gamerztheatre than stage6, go figure.

Download VirtualDub.

Open the file you want to compress in VirtualDub, go to video, and then compression. I suggest also downloading the Codec Xvid, then scroll to the bottom, select that, and try a compression of 3 to start. Save file as, then it will compress. If you want it even smaller go select another number higher, such as 15, or get a bigger file that has better quality by selecting a lower number such as 1.

I thought that as well at first, but he might have meant no-one will DL 1GB from Filefront if i get it that small and upload it to there.

Lol, i saw it on TV before i made the Vid, and it stuck in my head...
Plus it's quite punchy which works well when I quickly flick through kills I think

Your link is either screwed up or not working. I waited 5 minutes and it only got to 2% then all I heard was the arctic monkeys and saw green lines. I do have the divx windows plug in.

Just do what everyone does. Save in windows media video 9(best output with vegas) and upload to youtube or google. Why use an inferior video sharing site?

it was alright, but you shouldn't fire off so many bullets so fast

accuracy = kills

and when you use less bullets to kill people, you kill more in a life

but it was pretty good, although you should use the GL for more than close range shots. Long range pwnage FTW!

I'm getting there, but it takes sooo long to upload on a 2.2mbps connection. Today I will do FileFront, and maybe Youtube as well.
The first time I have used DivX as well, I was trying it out.
