I bought "Company of Heroes" the other day because it was half price. To be honest I haven't been one for strategy games since Age Of Empires 1. Having played it I find that I really really suck at strategy games. However these games being a challege as opposed to the great storylines but easy-to-master gameplay of some of the major FPS titles, (F.E.A.R, Half-Life etc.) is a welcome change. I'm actually quite looking forward to World in Conflict now.

...Yeah uhmm, that's what I was doing, but everytime I refreshed the server with 14/15/16 it'd be 16/16.

How will a p4 3.2, 2 gb, and an x600 run world in conflict?

It means your video card's memory is getting overloaded trying to render the scene. Essentially, turn your graphic settings down if you don't want lag.

there is a benchmark you can run in the game, its in the graphics settings.

btw what does VRAM overload mean?

Means your GFX card can't take the graphics, try lowering them or play on a lower resolution.

I <3 heavy choppers. Won 4 in a row with only heavy choppers, just giving every other chopper/AA a very wide berth.

Strange thing is in the closed beta I used to get the VRAM overload warning, now I play on higher GFX and longer get it, which I find strange and it plays very smoothly.

/Catastrophic failure ten minutes later.
