Added some more 'advanced' flying for those who were complaining my vids looked nice but didn't show ANY skill - unfortunately not much chopper whorage but that gets pretty tame pretty quickly anyway so hopefully I've got the balance right, I'll let you tell me..

Foo's Fourth BF2 Vid: No Prisoners

..Sorry about the quality of the 'skill' in the infantry bits to any skill-mongers out there, I don't play as inf much its *snore*/random - unless its inf-only 64 size on something like Jalalabad in which case it's like a proper small-scale battle which is pretty sweet

Anyhoo enough of my jibjabs, see what you think, feedback welcomed thx <3

Other Vids ::

Wake Up Call

Wake 'n' Bake 'Em

First Attempt - Kubra

No prisoners is my favourite. Apart from the infy bits, infantry on battlerecorder doesn't look great at all. the rest of it was nice though. well done.

I don't like battlerecorder videos. First person videos ftw...

The battlerecorder clips are good for the tv missile shots.  There is just something visually impressive about seeing a long line ending in a vehicle explosion.  It looks cool.   Might use these vids for convincing a friend to play bf2.  Music was good too.

Great music selection; if I ever made a video I would definitely use Muse as well.

You don't have many friends do you buddy? lol - I think what you meant to say was "I don't have a favourite"

Back to social skills school for you

..alternatively, if you wish to constructively criticize one or them it would be handy to know WHY none of them do anything for you.. - and don't just say "because they're shit" or I'll steal your lunch money biatch

Back to the problem of FPS interferance unfortunately, even though my rig is pretty sweet, 4GB RAM, E6700 Duo, 8800GTX - it still suffers when I wack fraps on in 1st person Plus 1st person is less arty, better for the BF2 enthusiast perhaps but for the other punters it gets a bit tired rather quickly

Agreed about the tv shots, I've come up with a bit of a provisional formula for filming them in a sexy style for future referance:

+ Follow-cam shot showing attacking chopper approaching target (both visible in shot - real-time)
+ Follow-cam shot tracking missile as it's launched in slow-mo (25%) but sped up in movie editor to around 50%
+ Side follow-cam shot on target vehicle showing missile approaching but not necessarily attacking chopper in the distance
+ First Person View of missile in its final phases being guided to target (real time - faded out on impact)
+ Beneath shot showing missile homing on target then impact (this 'below' view looked good on one of the blackhawk shots)
+ Alternative views of final homing and impact
+ Fast zoom (double tap W button) back to attacking chopper showing it turning and flying off
+ Fade out

God that's a long list, I clearly give this shit too much thought lol

Yeah I'm just obsessive about fly-by shots they look the sweetest when you get them right, point taken though you can have too much of a good thing, I need to mix it up a bit eh

Thx dawg, I had it on XFM while I was editing clips the other day and just realised, the 2nd half of the song was MADE for in-game vids! hehe

With that rig you should be pulling 80 - 100 fps while recording in a full 32 player server, I got 2GB Ram, P4 3.2Ghz (single core), and a 7950GT and i still maintain 30 - 40 fps while recording on a server of that size.

aye well, the max setting on fraps is 60 and it doesn't stay at that level if there's a lot of stuff going on - it's ok for a little while but then it starts to crunch :x
