ok I cant join and god dam servers b/c it ither says you have to enable punk buster or it says some thing like key packet lost (??????)

I click at the top enable punkbuster but it doses't do any thing so WTF Is wrong with this already shit game its going to be way to much like BF2!

Try checking the ports are not being blocked by router etc.

Losing key packets is usually when theres something wrong with your internet connection isnt it?

I'd say turn your packet sniffer off you hax0r.

And speaking of Quake wars, arent I suppose to get a key for being a whiny bitch?

Also let me know if the game is worth getting since it got OK reviews... not too great or not too bad 8.3/10 on some sites

wtf... the game ain't even out yet, it's in the beta-testing stages FYI On-topic, update your pb client using pbsetup or if you're running Vista, set the compatibility mode to XP, that sorted the pb kicks for me.

oh you are not receiving any packets I just read your message its a problem with your firewall its not letting any packets get to your machine

allow them in the firewall.The files are located in C:\WINDOWS\system32 and are named PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB

1. Click on the start menu, click on Run.... Type services.msc.
2. Under services find PnkBstrA. Right click it and stop it from the option in the drop-down menu.
3. Now double click it. On startup type select disabled.
4. Repeat 2 and 3 for PnkBstrB.
4. Go to your windows/system32 folder.
5. Find the two files, PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe and delete them.
6. Go to \Program Files\ELECTRONIC ARTS\Quake wars\pb folder.
7. Delete PnkBstrB.exe and PnkBstrK(if present).
8. Go to http://websec.evenbalance. com/downlo...ws/pbsetup.exe and download the pbsetup for your operating system.
9. Install. Select game directory and update PB.
