Can someone explain me why drones that I deploy insta kill me ? They just go down and sqwash me ...
I think it's most common in maps with varied terrain.
Try this: Crouch and look up before deploying. This seems to work 99/100.
But yes, it's very annoying.

didnt know this was an issue. the drones are worthless imo. the beacon is an excellent tool.
I've just unlocked both drones and tryed to test them and that shit happens all the time ... yeah , beacon rocks but when you placed it you may go for drone ...OmniDeath wrote:

Hmmm. This happened to me once the other day.Longbow wrote:

Odd thing is, I was on top of a building on Camp G. Never happened before, never happened since.
I think them killing you is deliberate, so it can't be exploited (like the Karkand Hotel Glitch)

The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

Same , but it also happened to me when I was on the ground ...Spark wrote:

It happened to me a couple times, but both time when I had overhead cover. I think that if it cannot deploy above your head, the deployment placement moves down and ends up being IN your head; insta death. Once I started making sure I was in the open (i.e. no roof right over my head) I was doing great. Just watch those tunnels and overhangs, folks.
that happens to me all u need to do it dont be under something and click it real fast on ur mouse if u hold it it goes up and comes back down like when u click it again to destroy it
The drones are like retarded flying R2-D2's
only reason I would unlock them is for fun or for that Reducing Spawn Time Beacon thingy

This is the best explanation. Enough said.Sambuccashake wrote:
