Well, I am thinking about getting this game, but the whole single/multi player mixed together makes me have some questions.

Mainly, are the online people always random when you log in, and if you have a friend, is there a way for him/me to be on the same island with each other?

i was invited to one...but no one is ever online from it..theres just a load of random players in it that i dont know or have ever seen online...except the one who invited me. :S

I love the game! I love the way you can 'free roam' around a whole island and the traffic moves a proper speed and theres a substantial amount of it, not just a gimmick like in NFS.

+ it has my 4 favourite cars: TVR Sagaris, Noble M14, McLaren F1 and Lamborghini Murcielago mmmmm!
