You can use it on ranked.

I was talking to a guy I know who is a serial hacker the other day. He wanted to show me it on an empty Wake Island Server. I duely went on and it does work very well. It's new from T2X......

He claims that if your not aiming directly at them when you take the shot it often doesn't 'lock' properly. I did manage to get him a few times as I'm pretty good at Tv'ing anyway, but he sucked and he was owning me......

Unfortunately this is another example of how hacks are becoming a good investment for people who can't play on BF2.

I swear I ran into someone using that the other day. Gunning for me he kept firing the tv like mad at nothing targets and when I did set him up on tanks he was completely missing when there was multiple tanks to choose from on screen. Then when he ended up on the other team he was tv'ing me in the chopper everytime on Dragon Valley. I've never seen a guy miss tanks but hit really hard chopper shots on Dragon Valley.

you can only suspect.  There is a point when you can see someone pulling ridiculous shots.  If you are flying though, you can check your gunner by putting him into a situation where most of a plane/chopper is behidn cover, especially the part with the pilots (the aimbot can lock onto the pilots or the vehicle, but not anywhere else and if they hit the cover (especially obvious cover) without trying to hit the nose then you've probably got a hacker on your hands.  Other than that just check pbscreens
