I was interested in playing the Metal Gear Solid games, but i really don't want to buy all 3 games individually, cause I'm lazy.

So i was wondering if it would be better to wait till the collection (if they ever make one) comes out, but they might never make one, and it might become harder to get the old games the longer I wait. Or should i get off my butt and just buy the games?

This same question really applies to any series of games, like the Monkey Island games, for instance.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I would say wait.  You probably will save money buying a package.

Plus when a package is released it usually includes the latest patches etc.

For instance I bout AF & EF together as a Booster pack collection.  They came pre-patched to 1.40

Of course by then 1.41 was out.

Collection, you save $$$$ and install/patch time.

Hmm, anyone got an estimate for when they make a Metal gear collection?
I really don't wanna wait till i'm 40

Hopefully not too long, the series is pretty old

Collection. 'WH40K: Dawn of War - Platinum Edition' is a perfect example of savings. And think...how many games can you actually play? How many hours can you devote to each? As work increases, I've developed a philosophy of buying only great titles, as there are a good number of games in my collection that I haven't had the opportunity to play beyond five minutes.
