Actually, Burning Crusade (the exp pack) fucked up a fair bit of the games balance and appeal at endgame. From what I'm told anyway, having never actually made it that far...

I don't see why people flame wow so much, and most of them who do would not have even tried to play it...they just jump on the '...Everybody else doesn't like wow, so I dont like it too...' band wagon.
You cannot compare WoW and BF2 - one is a FPS and one is an MMORPG, 2 totally different games aimed at 2 totally different audiences.
