All right i am getting a new computer Compaq Presario SR1700Z, compared to my old one a sony viao and i would like to hear you advice what i should get extra. I only have 1,500 dallors for this so don't do something too good plz! I got to buy my energy drinks!!!!

Processor: AMD Sempron 3500+
Memory: 2Gb DIMM
Hard drive: 200 Gb 7200 rpm SATA
Sound: Sound Blaster Audigy 4 w/ frout ports
Graphics:256 Mb DDR ATI Radeon X1300 Pro

Total=$1,336

any advice for diff stuff err anyhitng would be apreciated TANKS in advance

Go with the A64 CPUs - also, if you can, spring for a 10,000 RPM hard drive - they're more expensive, but they're like 3x as fast and more responsive.

Total = 1182, that leaves you 400 odd for a case which costs u about 100 lol, so 300 to spare if i have forgotten anything. Maybe if you want a faster CPU or another HDD or something like that. Just a suggestion.

thank guys i got/getting some of the stuff like the nvidia geforce 7800 and a64, i aint smart enough to put all the wire to the right duhicky i just know a little but tanks again, i was also thing just get the then bas and add the extra shit on like graphics card hard drive, ect.

uhhh the x1300, not good trsut me even though its a x1k. i believe it has like 4 or 8 pipes. just get a 6800 GT or X8XX
