Great game. Great storyline, great action, just an overall really good game.
If you can beat this game on hard without looking at a strategy guide or playing the tutorial I'll give you props, this game is extremely hard on hard difficulty.
It's a greatest hit so if you like jets in bf2 you'll really like this game. The dogfighting isn't as easy as bf2 either. Missiles always bounce off turning jets, you have to time the missiles perfectly every time, or just chaingun them.

All in all its a great game, must play game for jet whores.

I liked AC4 better, I can't stand the voice-overs in AC5. Although the graphics, missions, and fighters were better in 5 the non-stop radio chatter, which you're not able to turn off, killed it for me.

Which Ace combat is it that's called distant thunder? I had that, it was Ace, flying through them missle silos one foot higher or lower and you'd die.

My favorite AC is Shattered Skies! Balkan War isn't too bad either, I wish they made it for the PC

like 15 bucks, AC4 was the best, especially on the last level having to fly through the anti-asteroid complex.

the best of the 3 AC games i tried for sure, i liked the emp facility and that you had to fly through the valleys to get close without getting fried by the emp.

but i hated the stall physics they were virtually non existing.

yea, awesome level. i used to try to see how fast i could go through it with full afterburners.
