You can exit and re-enter a jet in midair. Can anyone think of how this could be useful in a game? I can't, but maybe someone is more imaginative than I am.

- Midair jet exit and re-entry
Let me guess. The US Server was empty and for lack of a better thing to do, you did this?
I have a funny story. I was in the F-15 on Cleansweep. My pilot loses the Su-34 by pulling straight up. Eventually, I notice the plane getting quieter. I switch to an outside view to see my pilot skydiving. "No biggie," I thought, "he'll jump back in and save us."
WRONG.
1000 feet and one failed attempt to restart the jet later, "[BF2s]cowami is no more."

Maybe, if you are being locked on by another plane, you can bail out (thus cutting the engines) and the missiles wouldn't lock on anymore. Then you re-enter and you are safe.
no shit man, i go skydiving all the time on large wake in the j10s. get to like 2000 feet then bail for a minute or two
15 more years! 15 more years!
uhhh
nope just fun

If your anti-tank and an enemy jet chased you into some sort of situation that required it, you could jump out, waste him, and get back in.
And yes, I have done that on a number of situations before just to show off to my co-pilot.

You can't shoot while freefalling.....NemeSiS-Factor wrote:

I was thinking maybe if you're squad leader? you could bail out to become a mid-air spawn point? that's my only thought......

You could do it over an enemy base. Do it at max altitude and you can do it for about 1 minute 40 seconds. When the enemy commander does a scan he'll pick you up as infantry in his base. Then he might run over and look you you, only you're 1000 feet in the air. This distracts him for a bit.

yes, you can't, which is why you would get out of the plane, for people to spawn, then you get in againSamtheman53 wrote:

Always better to bail out when you need to fart then to do it inside a small cockpit.

but another thing, how did you get that 5 more players before game start under you map instead of middle in screen?
if u and ur friend wanna switch seats.. then its handsom ..
Don't work to bail out if someone has a lock on you when you are high up. The lock stays for some seconds even after you bail.
