No. But realistically, it's a extremely hard task... and the resources could be put to better use.

I don't really think that we are expending a great deal of resources to locate him as it is.  I would say that we are primarily using intelligence sources to locate his position.  I could be wrong, though. 
Another thing to think about is the mental/morale side of things.  I'm sure that his ability to evade us to this point has been great for Al Qaida.  "Haha the dumb Americans can't find our illustrious leader".  If we were to capture/kill him, I think it would have an effect.

Think of this,

Imagine you are the Leader of The Coalition Forces.

Bin Laden gets Cap'd Ala " Che Guevara, Hitler Etc you get it. "

Now what do you do?

Announce it.   Who would believe it.
                      Parade his Head  on National TV.
                      Show his Body to the world. They still might not believe.

The results would be.

                       Making him a martyr to his cause.
                       Further enraging " the faithful " 
                       Letting the next leader take his place.
                       Maybe someone on the ball this time.
                       Someone with charisma, leadership qualities and vision.

By not announcing it.

                       You don't drive them into a Frenzy.
                       He is not replaced.
                       He looks like he lost his will.

( making the " Sacrifice yourselves for Our cause!... I will stay here and Hide " a bit harder to sell )
  and the worst that could happen is Al-Qaeda releases a phony tape once in a while.


The scoffed at " The inability to capture Saddam". When he was caught they changed their tune to " We didn't need to capture him."

The media is 100% opposed and only want to further the lost cause of Liberalism. So anything they can harp on you will here about it.

We have it seems accomplished the goal of keeping them out of our Country. That's big plus if you live in NYC
