Halo's just one of those games where you can give anyone a controller and they'll figure out how to play and have fun at the same time.

crysis looks incredible. i've always thought halo was highly overrated.
Crysis hands down, the nuke at the end sold me. Multi play should be sick. This should be our next shooter, hopefully they will have a ranking system.
Crysis with a computer that is going to be able to handle the next gen graphics and gameplay with own, however many people are not going to have systems which will be able to run the game the way it is meant to be played.
Halo 3 is straight out of the box, into the 360 and w00t away we go with individual mode, co-op, and xbox live.
Dont think the graphics and physics in halo 3 are going to be quite as good as Crysis, but it is part of the Halo series and will sell a lot of consoles for M$.
In the end I will buy both games, enjoy halo for what it is, probably have many good evenings playing Halo multiplayer, but also have a shit load of fun with Crysis.
but to be honest, will still end up playing BF2 more!

Halo has a good storyline as many people have told me, only ever played Halo 2. As for Crysis, I would so love to have a comp that could play it at full capacity. I still don't know if my comp would even play it on lowest settings.

Havent payed attention to Halo story much and Ive played a total of about 20 minutes of it at a friends house. Was easy, so how good is the story. Can it be compared to HL? And about Crysis, looks good, though its gonna end up being to short. Multiplayer better be the shit or else its gonna die.

I remember when Halo came out, a (then) 40 year old geek at work came to be as though he saw a UFO. As he was describing Halo to me, he was describing basic things about an Fps, for this was the first one. It is my opinion that Halo mostly appeals to people who mostly casual game players (nubccakes). I can see where it make sense to most since it is cheaper to play and requires no technical expertise ... and I mean sincerely, everyone in life does not have to be a technical test to be fun.
Against a game like UT2xxx halo is super slow. I played Halo2 when it came out at a friends and I could not tolerate its slow speed and sub par frame rate (compared to UT2004). It was fun on some level, just not on a level I would want to devote any time too.
"Better" to me is terms people use for "sells more". Twinkies outsell wheat grass ... what does this tell you?

You really can't compare the two, I don't see why every one tries. It's like trying to compare BF2 to WoW (a little exaggerated, but still), They're two totally different games and every has their own opinions/preferences.

Crysis is going to eat Halo 3. Halo 3 will be just like Halo 1&2 but with better graphics and physics, game play wise it will still be the tedious monorail will retarded AI and an unoriginal setting that remains the same throughout the game that the first two were. Crysis on the other hand will offer everything we ever wanted in a game; graphics that make RL look crappy, fully destructible environments, customizable weapons, and diverse environments.
