WoW - Private servers?

I'm looking for the best private WoW server, as I'd like to try the game out, but i don't really want to pay. Does anyone play on a free WoW server?

WoWscape has been suggested, and I see it on the top of a top 100 private WoW server list... but i'd like to hear some external opinions.

You have to have an account or you could use a trial account.

If you can not get a trial or you can not pay for it then you can not pay period.

I would not recommend Private servers.

Private servers tend to attract blizzards attention, and lawyers sometimes get involved, its not recommended.

Blizzard does allow private servers, you just have to be paying for the account you're playing with.

The days of worry-free private servers have long sine passed with the closure of the beta. You can download the trial, but you'll still have to give them a card number (in case you decide to "stay"), so if you're nervous about that, just watch a few gameplay videos.

You could just buy the trial version in wal-mart like I did for $2.00 for 14 days, I got up to level 11 & then it was over thank god.

Negatory on all the comments from you guys.

All you need is an up to date game, simply installing the game from a trial CD is enough, plus BC, the site I PMed has a link to an official BC installer.

Learn things before you speak.
