Ok, i am working on a random sig and was hoping to save it as a PNG but I can't save it as that or GIF, my selection is very limited and i cant do anything like add lens flare etc. does anyone have a clue as to why?
Easy way to save as a gif is look for where it says "save for web". Otherwise you have to change form RGB to indexed color.

You had to mark everything at PS (Photoshop) when installing. About the limited filters..I had that as well, and after reinstalling the program I had them all back.
Sorry i misread ur post. Are some filters grey out? If so you want to go to RGB color .. Image-->mode-->RGB color i think (I'm not in front of it at the moment)

thats what i have been working on, thx for the help. I figured if i want to even have a chance at the SoTW contest I need to practice. these are some of the ones that never made it to the SoTW i was entry #11 a few times lol

yes, its an educational suite package, I had it labeled as a CMYK instead of RGB pallet, once someone mentioned it i looked and changed it over.
