BF2S Forums Devils Perch - Does anyone Like it?

devils perch > all maps. wtf guys?! lol

no rly, inf battles at asylum(gotta dodge the c4 campers ) armor battles at lower villages. got 2 sets of flags, island and water flags. there is NOTHING on this map that cant be done, bar chopper and jet whoring

other than that, u got the medic whores, support nubs, assault sprayers, everything.

best map ever.

perch and leviathan best two SF maps.  gator is good fun too.

Tbh, I never really liked Devil's Perch from an infantry point of view. Primarily I'm a ground pounder and DP can get tedious with the water between the first Seals flags and the big MECSF island. Asylum fights are fun but usually don't last long and the fight at that little church (I think) near the asylum lacks good cover. I can find my way around the map but it's still confusing at times.

Leviathan is flat so fairly easy and you can't get any flatter than Night Flight :p. Night Flight is the most fun night map for me.

64 perch is easily the best. its the best map for comebacks. i mean, cmon, as MEC team just cap the neutralized land flags and then u got the US capped down to their main and the port factory.

its also good for flag caps, if u need those. its just the best map all around

too bad *TA* isnt running a 24/7 perch server.... *cough*

i only like leviathan if i get the apache or the MEC team that im on is so awesome we cap the armory and then i get the apache. other than that.... meh... sub battles are kinda cool sometimes.

nah im not a fan of it, I like leviathan, games last ages, loads of points and u hardly die if ur in a squad with medics

Its a great map. There used to be a 24/7 but its always empty now. shame.

I love devils perch, only reason I can't play more often is the abysmal lack of SF servers in .au

THe Lost Division is one of the better SF servers out there nowadays, since node pigfuckers killed the 64 maps.


And Devils Perch, Night Flight and Mass Destruction are best SF maps easily.

I mean...............infantry at its finest on all.

I love devils perch. TCS took it off rotation though, and switched it out with Levithian (ICK!) I'm tryin to get it changed but I don't think it'll happen

Don't get me wrong I am not too keen on a 24hr Perch server its just I like to play all maps with and without vehicles (apart from Iron Gator I/O).

I like devils perch, very fun to command there and drop cars in the stairs on ppl trying to get up to the MEC base (a claymore at the top base as a bonus if they dodge the car)

Yeah I enjoy playing Devil's Perch from time to time.

I don't play it a lot, but when I do it's usually just me and my friends RP'ing lmao.  We get a couple people to stand 'guard' by the main base on top, then basically reenact the opening SF movie.
