BF2S Forums Gamer commits suicide and notifies it in Forum

Wow, that is kinda disturbing, kinda like that kid that posted a bulletin on myspace telling people to call the police and go down the hall to the bathroom . . . but shit man, that sucks.

Guys, I am sadden to say that Kuja or Mitchell Stuekerjuergen has in fact died.

Tonight I came onto IRC to find Roc, Nitroid and Anathema looking for any contact information on Kuja they could find. Amazingly they tracked down relatives in the area and phone numbers. It was them who did all the work, I am just the messenger boy.

The first phone call I made was to Karl Stuekerjuergen. I was continously questioned as to "What this was about." I kept saying that I was a friend of Mitchell and we haven't heard from him in a while and we are concerned about his well being. There was a long pause and Karl said "You probably need Kevin Stuekerjuergen..."

Right there is when we all sensed something sad.

Karl didn't have a number on hand and Roc was able to find a few Kevin's in the area. The second call yielded the results we all did not want to hear. Kevin answered and I told him who I was and told him we haven't heard from him in a while and were concerned and worried about his well being. Kevin said, verbatum, "No things aren't well. Mitchell actually passed recently." At this point he started to get choked up and we both seemed to break down at the same time. "He was doing real well for a long time, and then he suddenly got depressed in November and took his life." I believe the date of his death was the 4th, but there was so much going on around both of us I couldn't make it out.

I am telling this news here first and it is up to us to decide what to do in memory of a great member and a great friend. I honestly don't know what to say right now being that I can barely see the screen anymore.

But Kuja105, Mitchell Stuekerjuergen, the member we all loved to poke loving fun at is no longer with us. May he rest in peace.

RIP Kuja, I miss ya...

Omfg its so sad this shit happens man :S. It all sounds so distant but it could be right here.
I hope he has found peace..

maybe there is, but she posted her suicide on irc.  too bad everyone was away idling and they never saw her plea.

The saddest thing about it isn't his death, but that he was so depressed as to kill himself, I can't imagine myself being so down that I would even think of something like that. But whatever, God bless him, even though he could've made a better choice, got counseling or something, i'm done.

man thats lame the poor kid only thought he had the forum to telll about his death but its a bit out of order to all the members knowing that the last thing that guy said is written on there forums and they new him for how long 5 years or something, thats bullshit kid should have got help, and beeng wtf man

When I was younger (probably 7 or so), there was a guy who lived across the street from me who was about 16.  The kid was like a big brother to me - he taught me how to play basketball, ride a bike, etc.  I remember coming home one day and seeing his body hanging from a rafter by an orange extension cord in his open garage, and his two sisters on the front lawn, crying hysterically as they called 911.  He was cut down 5 hours later.

I've been close to death and I know it is not something I should really fear - I put my hand through a plate glass door once and came within 1/4 of an inch from slicing the main artery.  As the band Pedro the Lion puts it "We go through so much trouble to postpone the unavoidable" - from the song "Priests and Paramedics". 

You can laugh at your own brushes with death, you can even laugh when others come close, but to blatantly laugh at someone who feels so lost that their only way out is to end their life is appalling.  I feel terrible for the kid - to have killed yourself in a way that takes death some time to slip in (as opposed to a gun or something quicker like that) and to have to sit there and realize that you've made a terrible mistake, your life really isn't that bad, and you don't really want to die must have been more agonizing than anything I could possibly imagine.

For anyone disrespectful towards this guy, I hope you really need to grow up.  You're not only disrespectful to him, but to his family, his friends, and to anyone else who has committed suicide or has been close to someone who has.  I'm ashamed for all of you.
