- Should I be the first to make a "LAG" video?
Run it on half size, you're framerates won't be quite as bad.Ryan wrote:
You go from 40fps down to 20 with Fraps?
Wtf is wrong when I tried Fraps? I went from 90-100fps down to 15
But yes, that would be a funny video.
lol i went from 100 fps to 95 fps then 90-70 fps
I doubt it even stops at 50 fps. In fact, it depends on the amount of the luminosity of the picture and things like that. The eye perceives a continuous light flow so the more frames per second the better, there is not really a maximum. I think that they make jet pilots pass tests in which they have to identify pictures that appear during less than a few ms.Des.Kmal wrote:
yeah. it can, its around 50 that it stops.stef10 wrote:
you know that the human eye can not register frames over 24 or so.
if u dont believe me, ill fraps some stuff with the fps locked at 30, then at 60. its VERY noticable.
30 fps offline play is not THAT bad, but 30 fps + internet lag + server lag+ other players ping lag = bad.
end of story.
Nope since you guys 'care' so much about stats search 'PWNEDbySportsman11'. Here I'm gonna be like you I bet you get a 1.5:1 K/D ratio oh I'm right.Jameseyy wrote:
I'd say that while not linking to my stats if I played like I'm guessing you do. I bet you get scores of 1:4 ratio 90% of the time.sportsman11-2cool4u wrote:
Who gives a flying fuck who has better stats then whom. It just proves you can waste more of your life on the computer. Get a life.

Meh you're stats are decent... nothing special. Was expecting better
As you can guess I don't play this game a whole lot. I mostly devote my time to sports (Couldn't guess I like sports? =P). But your just another decent player like me.
I get about 80 fps normal and 50-60 fps with recording
What I'll do is record EVERYTHING. Then I'll put me OWNING the shit out of someone with 5fps. (I do it a lot). I think in the end people will like it.

My Hitachi 21 in. monitor is running at 1600x1200 @100Mhz3lmo wrote:
Found this somewhere @ ^Frame rates are considered important in modern gaming where the differences in technology performance can make the difference between a game that is playable and one that is not. A frame rate of approximately 25fps is considered acceptable for a game to be playable, although some gamers are happy to make do with rates as low as 5-10fps.
A culture of competition has arisen among gamers with regards to frame rates, which gamers striving to obtain the highest fps count possible. Among the fastest cards using the most recent, 3D-heavy games, frame rates of 90-100fps are not unheard of. This does not apply to all games - some games apply a limit on the frame rate. For example, the Grand Theft Auto series, as of Grand Theft Auto III, applies a standard 30fps and this limit can only be removed at the cost of graphical stability. It is also doubtful whether striving for such high frame rates is worthwhile. An average 17" monitor can reach 75Hz, meaning that any performance reached by the game over 75fps is redundant. For that reason it is not uncommon to limit the framerate to the refresh rate of the monitor. This is called vertical synchronization.
Even with expensive monitors that can reach even higher frequencies, the effect is somewhat lost as the human eye has difficulty in perceiving differences in frame rates above around 50-60fps. Indeed, this is why televisions operate at 50Hz and 60Hz with PAL and NTSC standards respectively.
It should also be noted, that inspite of the evidence that the human eye is limited in regards to what maximum framerate it can perceive, there is a rather large controversy over what is known as the "feel" of the game. This smoothness may not be perceived visually, but it is arguable that games with extremely high framerates "feel" better than those that are just getting by. This is especially true in games such as a first-person shooter in which fast reactions are vital for survival.
I get 40 fps with a 8600Gt and 3 gigs of ram and with nothing in the background. And it is choppy sometimes on servers with 50 players or more.
cpu problem... damn dude.....The_Killer wrote:
