So, I've been looking around the Internet as of late, mostly at fable which I got last week, I've finished the game and I was just wondering how you get all that freakin cool armour which I see all the people with the screen shots wearing? and btw I only have plate armour.
You have to get it from the crazy head things that require certain attributes. I think it took me 24 hours to finish that game, god it was good.
You have not finished Fable. You can't finish it really, with how much replay value it has. I've owned it for about 3 years and I still play it from time to time.Invaderzim wrote:

The Demon Gates are a good place to pick up items, as are some of the traders.
A good way to make money quickly is kill traders in the great wood. Only if you are a evil bastard like I was most of the time though.

Well the main quest bit, and then I changed from deadly evil to heavinly goodness. But yea I seem to remember getting some magical armour from a deamon gate. Btw whats your furtherest chicken kick? I seem to remember mine beigh 30.37.
I also assume that you have the dark bow? Thats such an awsome weapon.

lol, i use a oak longbow or something, but i dont really use skill i just use my curvy sword of pwness
Can't you gamble in that game? If I remember correctly I would bet the max amount at blackjack(or whatever the hell it was) after saving the game, and if I lost I would just reload my save point and repeat. I ended up with all of the most expensive equiptment early and cruised through the game.

What I found the easiest way to make money is expoiting the buy/sell system.
Go to a vendor and look at the price of an item that has alot in stock (idealy potions, not sure if it works with others)
Because there is so many it will be very very cheap. Buy ALL of that potion. Look the price again. Very very expensive. Sell it ALL back to the vendor. Repeat the process untill you have as much money as you want.
IMPORTANT: BUY IT ALL AT ONCE AND SELL IT ALL AT ONCE, IF YOU DO THIS YOU WILL BUY IT ALL AT THE LOW PRICE AND SELL IT ALL AT THE HIGH PRICE. IF YOU BUY IT IN INCREMEMNTS THE PRICE WILL GO UP, COSTING YOU MONEY. IF YOU SELL IT IN INCREMENTS, THE PRICE WILL GO DOWN, AGAIN WASTING YOU MONEY.

Mine was 35 point something... Was messing about with slow time... Kicked the chicken twice... Haha.
Managed to get one of my characters called an "alcoholic" (spent all his money from robbing the traders on beer... Haha... Always at least semi drunk... That was a good character.)

Char 1 - 'Lord Moldemort' (show-off)
Char 2 - 'Deaglán' (tattoo was gotten while drunk after rescuing kittens)
Char 3a - 'Fiacre' (never beg a man with glowing eyes for your life)
Char 3b - (right before the Chuck Norris kick)
Can't wait for the sequel (well, the PC port).

Those mass murdering sprees are the best way to get experience for me as the highest level guards now patrol in each town. The game adjusts quite well to a person's actions.
