Codemasters also announced this game a littler later than OF2, but what it is is an action RPG (like Titan Quest) and it takes place in the Greece area. So its more focussed on Greece, which is fine by me, because the Greece part of the game was my favorite area.

Gamesradar wrote:

Developed by Liquid Entertainment, Rise of the Argonauts is set against the fantasy-rich background of ancient Greece and promises 'deep exploration and epic quests.' Oh, and a life of 'brutal combat,' of course.

And what good is a life of brutal combat if you can't share it with friends? Happily, then, players will have a party to lead through the dusty landscapes and pillared temples – enlisted Argonauts so far include Jason, Hercules and Atalanta.

Admittedly, only minimal details have been released so far but - as Sony's God of War games have proven so brilliantly - ancient Greece provides a veritable sackful of monsters, gods, temples and legends ripe for pilfering and we look forward to seeing how Rise of the Argonauts shapes up.
So that sounds good, I'm looking forward to some screenshots, and hopefully the graphics and game does not disappoint.

Let's just hope that Greece doesn't turn into an industry rut, but I don't blame developers for making the best of it while it's still newly-fresh.

Yeah, Greece is a great place to have an RPG, going back to earth to have RPGs related around mythology. Now, again, if the graphics are sweet, and this game has an FPS perspective, I'll most likely be sold.

I wish they'd make a sequel to 300 already. Or atleast a spinoff with Alexander the Greats Battle for Babylon.(Now that would be awesome)

Actually, decent movies based on historical battles could rock. Braveheart, Gladiator... Movies of that style are brilliant too... As long as they continue to be made well and not turned to shit.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.

A Game based on 300 would be strange.
But I will say, if the graphics are good, and it has an Oblivion esque style, I'll gusta it.
