it all depends on what kind of game i'm lookin for... if i want huge maps, with tank, heli, and jet whoring at its best, then definitely vanilla. if i want nail-biting infantry fights with some vehicles tossed in for fun, SF all the way.

Shame, as i prefer SF, I played Vanilla a lot at the start when a lot of My Friends played. 6 of us shared 1 copy of SF, so only one could play SF at a time, after my computer got wiped i went and brought my own copy , and SF is definetly better, maps actually have there own statics, many of the buildings can be entered, compared to Vanilla where I can't think of any individual statics.

why everyone calls it vanilla yet there are no special forces servers and most peoples profiles have (vanilla) maps on them like karkand or wake
