@max and -Leeds-Lad-: Thanks. Future plans, well, I'm going to release it as soon as I get some semblance of a finished product. Really, it needs quite a bit more work. Before I release it, I'm going to incorporate some 64-player co-op/singleplayer maps, as there are not any servers for this.

Correcto. In fact, the mod's name is M82A1, after the weapon DICE left in the game files and I put in. Basically, it just expanded out from that.

The M82A1 has been removed from the mod due to obvious balancing issues and a number of glitches. It may or may not make a return.

Edit: No, the irony does not escape me.

That falls within the "glitches" category, which also includes...

-the magazine momentarily sticking through the receiver during reloading,
-having to use the MG36 reload sound,
-being able to see your hand when moving while zoomed in, and
-the "run" animation.

Edit: Maybe using the AltGUIIndex from the M95 could work. Or, it might just be a matter of position.

- Can't think of something for that off the top of my head, maybe redo/create an animation.
- It's the closest reload sound available. You might want to borrow a sound from another game/mod.
- Make it where you have to prone to fire, and when you're prone you can't move.
- Have to redo/create an animation.
