Nooo... Consoles are easy to handle, but with PCs you'll need some knowledge.. Thinking about the kids mothers buying the consoles. They are a lot less expensive too
I like playing console games just not online. honestly id rather have them for pc if its possible. I have nes, snes, n64, and game cube, sega, genesis, sega saturn, dreamcast, ps1&2, xbox, and xbox 360 they all work. just for ps2 alone i have like 50 or 60 games. I dont play them as much anymore but i think i keep them for nostalgia. Maybe ill sell them all on ebay one day....
I've got a modded xbox and modded ps2 hooked up to the tv right now. Older consoles are all in boxes collecting dust. I like them fine and still use them. However no console game has kept me interested in it as long as PC games have.
Basically, PC gaming is more expensive and playing with the mouse and keyboard is insane to most people. The hardware stuff is also very confusing to alot of people. On the other hand, consoles are more expensive in the long run since you buy some crap games that become boring in a week and end up dropping another $50 where as with the PC you check out demos and what not before you even buy one usually.
I've only played pcs since i was a child - beginning with snake, tetris, centipede and space invaders et al on a 1980s BBC consoles simply never existed in my life as such - i was never bought one and having grown very fond of the pc i can't see myself ever buying one
