i usually go for my regulars, but decide based on how many people are in the game. full game>empty game.

with my weak ass computer i look for ping first, then anything goes
i usually look to see where my clans playing at.

Pretty much my favorite server/map rotation/best ping....etc.
I usually try my favs first... if I see names I know I hop on. If I'm trying a new server, I look to see who's playing. If there's a clan stacked on either side I usually won't join because I know the other side will never work as well together and if I join I know I won't get on the side with the clan!
I look for any sf/ef server with good ping, Unless my only choice is warlord or ghost town, Those get tiring after a while.

If i dont find any friends i`ll go for a 24/7 Iron Gator on my fav list thats occupied almost all the time

And I go Friends>map>ping/populated, that is if there is no one on the BF2s server in which case it would be friends>BF2s and if the BF2s is full I have friends there generally so I'm always covered.
I go for a faviot server my mates are on, or i get them on to it.

I Only ever play on 1 server when I play BF2 usually..

Sometimes i'm play another map... but I never play wake on any other server, mainly because I dont feel like getting shot out of a heli on take-off by a teamate and getting 4 punished teamkills on take-off in a J-10.

I check my regulars to see whos playing, and then i check the number of people, more than 30 and its too many people.

Same as #4 on gvers. Don't like getting on a team that's getting completely whiped out when I had nothing to do with it. Why take the stat loss?
