[WoW] Probelm please help

I'm trying ot play wow right now and its frustrating me.

I have a couple characters on boulderfist (and one 20)

And wheni load the screen it just stays there and my friend says it says im online when im at the loading screen.... but i cant get on, and when i retrieve the character list it kinda laggs and never comes up.... but when i go to another server it works just fine....

ahh.

Does anyone know whats wrong, or if it will fix itself, because i dont want to have to restart ):

EDIT:now i try to switch to boulderfist and it just pops up as "retrieving character list"

and it just stays there ):

It might just be you picked a shitty server. Some servers suck and lag, never pick a red server. Always go green or yellow.

If it's just one server doing that and other people are having the same problem, I expect it'll fix itself in time. I don't know about WoW's technical response time, but considering the lagginess of Diablo II I wouldn't hope for much.

My buddies are on it right now though, i was just on the phone with them and they got on just fine.
