Don't reccommend BF2142 or any MMO, kinda don't like BF2142 now. BF2 was better, I'll play that off and on, but I want another game that will keep me addicted like BF2 did last year.

- So what are some good online games that will get my hooked.
Try Counter strike source that's pretty fun.
Day of Defeat source, company of heroes, PRMM .5, IL2 Sturmovik. uhhh, Crysis when it comes out, Supreme Commander and Tiberium Wars. just keep an eye out for stuff at game stores and game websites.
cs 1.6
"you know life is what we make it, and a chance is like a picture, it'd be nice if you just take it"
CS 1.6 surely doesn't keep me addicted and I doubt Source will. I'm mainly looking for FPS's.
HL2 should do the trick.
HL2 DM and HL:S DM are actually really great fun and they only cost 10 USD each. HL:S DM doesn't have many people on it, although the is1337.com sever ussually has like 16/24 people on it, and they have all the maps so if you get an okay ping it's the only server you'll ever need. HL2 DM has the gravity gun, which makes deathmatch very insane and I love it.
Gravity Gun FTW ! Nothing beats chucking a brick at someone at speeds of 100 MPH
Anyway ,I recommend Day of Defeat : Source and Team Fortress Classic.

Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2, America's Army, World of Warcraft(but u have to pay monthly)..........
Why don't you just watch paint dry you'd get the same level of excitementBigmacK wrote:

Shooters:
CS:S - Zombie Mod
Unreal Tournament 2004
Unreal Tournament 3 (UT2007) - not out yet, but promises to be fun
Crysis - not sure how popular it'll be for multiplayer, though
RPGs:
Diablo II: Lord of Destruction - the big one
Guild Wars - it'll stick on ya for awhile, but I've never bothered with the expansions; can be fun the first few times around, though, and PvP is its main strength
Silverfall - I don't know what kind of multiplayer audience it'll get in March, but try the demo
Hellgate: London - not out yet, but this thing promises to addict you for years
Strategies:
Starcraft: Brood War - if you can get around the primitive unit pathing, it's still a great game
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War + Winter Assault/Dark Crusade - VIOLENCE!
Company of Heroes
Supreme Commander - comes out the 20th and boasts of plenty of multiplayer features

I think I'm gonna end up buying this:
Source Premier Pack
Includes: Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, Half-Life Deathmatch: Source, Half-Life 2: Episode One
Alot of games for 60 bucks. I haven't got the chance to expierence any of them either. Well excpet, HL1, but this one is HL1 Source.
