A group is trying to make any movie with smoking "R" rated. I'd google it and post a link, but Im not going too.

Thier example I saw on my local news was "Talladega Nights" with Cohen puffing a cigarette. They didn't mention he plays a Frenchman. We know the French love thier cigs. Its a bit ridiculous. parents need to be responsible in talking to thier kids about tobacco's dangers. Not change the standard of rating movies.

On another note, no one in the industry can "solve" the tobacco issue due to the enormous cash crop it is. The obvious choice would be making it illegal since it kills and marijuana doesn't, but is illegal. That would make sense. We just can't figure out how to compensate the income.
