Take the type of people that make up 96% of the USA's prison population. Send them to the Your country. You'd have instant murder instant crime.

just did some quick research
per capita people who attended college
united states 29% = 85,600,000 *thats more than 5 times your entire population* =p
netherlands 22% = 3,600,000

next closest to america is japan
japan 20% = 25,480,000

but canada has a slightly higher per capita than japan
canada 21% = 6,888,000
You know, that actually does makes sense.. Seeing that the USA is a little bit bigger then The Netherlands..*Cough*
As for you statement about educated people in America makes me think to that video clip where Americans point out Australia as Iraq . Of course this doesnt mean I generalize all of you, but still ..
All in all Id say there is a huge diffrence between The Netherlands and the USA.
For such a big country im sure there are a lot more smarter and educated ppl around there, as well for a bigger crime-rate and non-educated ppl.

here let me explain the political process here since i can only assume you think  america is a christian conservative nation becuase you watch tv and see bush is pres and got re-elected and think were all like that..

firstly right wing conservatives play a much more proactive role in thier political process whereas liberals think they are both assholes and votes for someone like ralph nader or ross perot ..or dont vote at all .. the democrats are left with thier base who just arent as fervent about getting thier ideals represented in washington as right wingers..

bush didnt even win the first election and he barely won the second .. hardly a concensus .. and if you notice hes not particularly popular over here lately and would have never been reelected had we not had a conflict in iraq..

i would wager that cities like los angeles, san francisco, new york, las vegas etc .. are as liberal if not moreso than any city the netherlands ... california has medicinal marijuana and las vegas has legalized prostituion

It is a fact that Americans are conservative in their thinking.
dont gereralize because thats not a fact .. its an opinion .. im pretty liberal thinking and i live in america ..and know many others that are liberal thinking

They're afraid of terrorism and visit god's house more and more
dont gereralize because thats not a fact. im not scared of any terrorists and i goto church on easter and christmas becuase i haev to. we have every religion out here ...

Here, we like to use our minds. Our common sense.
why not just say were all stupid ? thats exactly what youre saying ..america is the most educated nation on earth .. and we contribute more to medicine and science than the entire world combined and probably 10 thousand times more than the netherlands do .. so we use our minds here, thats a total assholish statement.
Allright. First thing. You begin with calling names. This shows me how desperate you are and don't know what you are talking about. You might be a progressive youngman, youngwoman, but most of the American citizens are conservative,
Politics in the US now:

http://www.amerika.nl/politiek/html/amp … egbush.htm Very sorry, is in dutch, but I couldnt find anything about it in english.

http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:wO … &hl=nl

Read this closely. This research is dated 2004. "In the Jan. 29-Feb. 1 Gallup, CNN, USA Today poll, 39 percent said Bush's political views were too conservative, 36 percent about right and 18 percent too liberal. Eight percent thought Kerry's views were too conservative, 46 percent about right and 29 percent too liberal."

What does this mean? In 2004, 39 % percent thought that Bush was conservative. These people can be pointed out as progressive. 36 percent thought he was right. 18 percent too liberal. Thus 18 percent was conservative. But what about the 36 %. The Dutch thought Bush was conservative round that time. Thus by our standards, 36 percent that thought Bush was right is added up to 18 percent, makes: 54 percent is conservative. Did you think Bush was doing the right thing in 2004? Sending more men to the front in Iraq? If so, you thought Bush was probably too conservative. And you didn't think Bush did the right thing.  If no, you probably thought Bush was doing the right thing does days.

Again, you don't realise what you're saying. You're telling me, that Bush isn't popular nowadays. No shit, but you guys realized that a year later when europe allready figured it out. Tells something about common sense don't it.

The cities you're talking about are indeed the most progressive cities of the US. They or not particulary MORE liberal than a city here. There could be one, but you are comparing things that can't be compared. You have to say: More cities of the US are more liberal than in the Netherlands. And that is not the case. If you say: LA, LV are liberal, and are more liberal than any city in the Netherlands, I say: In the Netherlands MORE cities are liberal than in the US.
And for the record: we have does things too. All over the Netherlands. (Medicinal Canabis & legalized Prostituan. --Particular areas where they can doe business, same as in Las vegas.)

dont gereralize because thats not a fact. im not scared of any terrorists and i goto church on easter and christmas becuase i haev to. we have every religion out here ...
Allright, missentence. Most Americans are conservative. Not all. You aren't. But most are.

dont gereralize because thats not a fact. im not scared of any terrorists and i goto church on easter and christmas becuase i haev to. we have every religion out here ...
Most are scared of terrorists.

Again, you aren't afraid of terrorits, most are.

Allright that was wrong for me to say. But again you're being a duba. "and we contribute more to medicine and science than the entire world combined and probably 10 thousand times more than the netherlands do"

You keep comparing us. Your strongest argument is size. All over. The US is maybe 10 thousand times BIGGER than the Netherlands realize that!

Look and learn:

thats all true, but just to reitterate,  those numbers were per capita = a percentage, so the size of the country is irrelevant

54 percent is conservative.
youre citing a news focus group as if thats a census or facts .. focus groups are a group of people ..chosen by  the news company ..its not a census or an accurate representation of the entire population ...and not facts...

Most are scared of terrorists.
quoting a few websites that say people are scared isnt a fact ... i live here and i know that the majority of people i know arent scared.. bush uses scare politics mentioning terrorism all the time to push his agendas but that doesnt mean that everyone is scared ...

Again, you don't realise what you're saying. You're telling me, that Bush isn't popular nowadays. No shit, but you guys realized that a year later when europe allready figured it out. Tells something about common sense don't it
in 2004 60% of america voted and 50% voted for bush ..out of those 50% maybe 20% of them changed thier minds about bush .. so congrats you have better judgement than 6% of america

bottom line .. i know more about my country then you do .. i live here, im not gonna tell you about the netherlands like i know better..you hear things on the news or read the paper and think you know..

side note ..i want to goto amsterdam

I live in the Netherlands, in Zoetermeer, its about 15 min. drive from Den Hague, and also Zoetermeer has a coffeeshop. Everybody has the same image of the Netherlands: weed, hookers, tulips and wooden shoes, but this stereotyp image is pretty dumb. In the Netherlands we see the United States as a country were everybody has a shotgun under their pillow, a city like NY has more criminals than Europe and everyday someone gets wacked on the streets and nobody seems to care shit about it. But I know this is wrong to, isn´t it?

Czech? You mean "Chetnik", Chetniks were the Serbs that commited genocide against my people (muslims)

I visit Bosnia now and then, yeah.

Regarding the languages... well the difference is more "national" than linguistic, it's like english/irish/scottish

i meant czech as short for Czechoslovakia ..is this only what its called in english?  arent bosnians coratians serbians etc all used to be part of Czechoslovakia ? i thought maybe after it split and all the conflicts maybe you guys would want to distance yourselves from any associations ie czechs ..what i mean is say some asshole asked you where youre from, you say bosnia , then he says oh youre czech .. maybe youd want to kick him in the balls ?

i just read in cia factbook that they all had thier own language so i was just curious on how different they were ..seems stupid if its a dialect that it has its own name .. i mean like you said noone says i speak irish do they?
