When I try to login, it takes around 5 minutes to log in. Does anyone know how to help me? plus, sometimes when i try to login i get in and my color part of the graphics are all screwed up so it doesn't show the picture when it is screwed up. anyone know why?
Might be a question for a BF2/BF2142 section, if that's even what you're on about.
But if it's 2, go to:
...\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Movies\
...and delete all the .bik files there or make a sub-folder and stick them there. The lack of movie loading will increase menu performance.

You just posted in the 'other titles' section, so assuming you didn't know that, are you talking about BF2 or BF2142? If neither, mind being a bit more specific bob?albino cookie wrote:

If it's BF2, delete your account, then retrieve it. (Your stats will not be wiped.)
A quicker way is to edit a text file within the account.
My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001\General.con
In there is a list of all the servers you've played on, IPs, ports, names, etc. and everytime you login it scans them or something. Deleting those lines out of the file makes you login within five spins of the 2. I do it every week or so or until I'm sick of loading times.
