Their development cycle started at roughly the same time. Quake Wars took longer because of more engine tweaking and DICE reused alot of code from BF2 so it would be cheaper, faster and have less bugs.Ayumiz wrote:

Taken from http://home.businesswire.com/portal/sit … ewsLang=en Activision has pushed the release into their fiscal year 2008. It starts on April 1st 2007. So at earliest you can get ET:QW in April - though it doesnt mean that it'll be immediately released in April.
