Some reviews say that the x800 series has ddr2 ram.  But when i bought my old x800 PRo it said it has ddr3.  and since the x800 Pro doesnt use more then 75 watts , doesnt that mean its using ddr3 cause i read somewhere that ddr3 doesnt use much energy?
Just wondering if ati changed from ddr2 to ddr3 on the x800 series

Diffrent companys put diffrent types of ram. I think ur just getting mixed up. ATi isnt the only company who makes the X800.

ATI makes the technoligy, then they sell it to venders (asus, spaphire etc)

The whole X800 series uses GDDR3.
