I have been using my friends account to play CS:S but i decided it was time to buy my own cause we would kick each other off when we wanted to play, now, i have the game installed already.
I used my friends steam account to install and play the game
Now i created my own account without the game purchased, i bought it at walmart.
IS there a way to enter my CD key in without reinstalling the game? (ITS 4 DISKS FFS!)

Not sure if this is it but try this. Start up steam then on the top theres file, view, games and help click on games then it says activate a product then do those steps.

oooh yea, activate product. forgot about that. get DoD:Source its so much better, and alot more fun. cuz no one is bunny hopping and its alot harder to use the weapons so it actually takes skill to play.

My edition i bought includes DoD: Source and HalfLife 2: Deathmatch
