That reminds me a funny story or at least it was for me. I was playing BF2 with my headphones on like I usually do when the phone rang. I took off my headphones and I am talking on the phone when I realize I forgot my friend was on Teamspeak talking so I switch over to my main speakers. I am talking on the phone.. listening to teamspeak when suddenly someone spawns on me. I was a squad leader by myself and I guess someone joined my squad when I wasn't looking. He moves off to my right and starts unloading on someone with his PKM. I nearly jumped out of my chair cuz my speakers were on loud. My subwoofer banging away. I guess someone returned fire because a grenade exploded nearby shaking the room. I fumble for the speaker volume immediately and turn down the noise. Then there was a knock on my door from a roomie. He asked me if I heard gunshots nearby. I chuckled and pointed to the game, "Sorry man. Speakers were on too loud.". He looks at the game and swears that he actually heard gunfire.cyborg_ninja-117 wrote:
lol nice beeng, when theres arty/firefights, ur neighbors will run and hide and say: fucking kids and their guns!@! and thinking it was some gangsters
I've noticed one thing... bf2 sounds arent optimized for real speakers and a reciever... all the sounds are pingy and don't use the full rangekilroy0097 wrote:
So yea.. turn those speakers on LOUD and stand in an artillery strike or in a heavy firefight. Your neighbors are going to think WWIII started.
