Wow. 2007. My third year as a part of this site.
Okay as the Moderator living down here in the bottom of the world, and as the first to see the sun of the new year, let me just give you all a big "Happy New Year!"
Okay, so sure, it is another 6 hours 'till midnight, but I thought I'd go and get ahead of myself seeing that I'm off to a party in a few minutes.
2006 was a Hell of a year for this site right? Terrible trends, controvercial happenings, bans, and the controvercial demotion of a certain former Moderator...
The brand spanking new server codename: GIBSON, the introduction, whether good or bad, of the Karma system, Ty becoming a Mod, (Cheer! Cheer!) many many new members with our 20,000th joining the fray, the one millionth post... the list goes on and on. In short I can say that we're still going strong even after the thing that started Mr. Jeff Minard on this site, (whatever that was,) is not the most important aspect anymore, the new attraction being the forums and the members who are apart of them. Go you!
So I would like to wish every 24,320 of you, plus those who have yet to register here on this 2006, a huge big fucking Happy New Year!
