BF2S Forums quakes wars or 2142?

Bf 2142.................

BF2142.. I mean who wants to play a game that EA didn't create.. I mean, they probably dont even know how to make Patches.. /Sarcasm

well yea thats true.  Havent you played q4?  you get stroggified.   Also the telepathic part, i remember seeing any aliens with weird powers.  And stroyent?? i couldve sworn i saw a strogg in Q4 eating human meat

naw, never played it.  I've heard its fun but to me a lot of the game is the background, especially if its sci-fi/fiction.  If it's got a dumb/completely unbelievable storyline/background, than I find it hard to take the game seriously

but w/e, some people are into that stuff so thats ok.  Just more available slots on cool BF2142 servers for us

2. too many video games with aliens, it's old, it's overused, think of something new
3. REALLY dumb names
4. unbelievable
5. people like you or me could probably think of something more original

Dude the Quake franchise have used the Strogg for practically a whole decade now, it's up to them to make it original and it's an entity all their own which I thought was great for the time being and even pushed the FPS genre out even further than it could have been today, a true ID Software ingenuity. Not only that, but Quake Wars actually seems more promising as ID Software has more precedence as an FPS gaming company than EA who have set themselves apart mostly through RTS strategy games and 3rd person gameplay such as Jungle Strike way back in the day! If anyone recalled Command & Conquer: Renegade, that was a horrible FPS attempt and I'm not surprised no one takes for granted that mistake and should ever reference that to any FPS mistake EA has made; specifically the Battlefield 2 problems, even if it was another company that made the game, EA's involvement and 'promise' still houses that problem.

Sorry but EA did make a semi ok fps before being involed in bf2 and that was the Medal Of Honor serias .Renegade wasnt to bad easy and quick to finish if you wanted a blast session but the MOH games i think where pretty cool and paved the way for the COD titles.

MOHAA in particular revolutionized the WW2 first person shooter department.  CoD1 and UO were developed by the same people who made MOHAA, very good series of games. 

Tho CoD2 IMO is very worse than the others

Ya, ok, those things aren't original to Quake Wars.  People were thinking of those things back in the 50's.  Ever heard of an AT-AT from Star Wars?  Ever heard of War of the Worlds? 

Quake didn't invent sci-fi, sorry.  My point is that it is completely unbelievable compared to BF2142 which at least tries to make a believable storyline.  I can go play Area 51 at an arcade if I wanna play something like Quake Wars

I've seen more believable stuff on Power Rangers

Am i the only one who still plays redneck rampage? That games so awsome. Duke nukem? I got the old one where you can shoot the strippers. Ill buy both and see wich I like more. And as for ut2007.. I heard it bite big big cock.

You shoot chickens with shots gunsand crowbars and aliens and stuff.. Youd have to play it to understand it.
