Post your comments if you think U.S. is going to attack North Korea or if U.S. should attack North Korea.

***Also North Korea government stated that they have a nuclear weapon and they said they won’t be afraid to use it if someone attacks them******

Of course they will. Why else build nuclear weapons if you're not gonna use them as a last resort?

North Korea? Maybe that was possible before they had nukes but since they do now the U.S. won't invade. Iran is by far the next target. Logistically it makes sense, a large military contigent is already in theater and it has recent comabt experience. The question is really when not if.

The threat of using nuclear weapons if attacked is the deterrent. Like I said.

No. As much as the neo-cons want war, they know Korea would be a bloodbath and the American people wouldnt stand for it.

will never happen, korea will fold under trade restrictions, or they will ask for a butt load of money to stop whatever it is they are doing , then they will do it anyways.

I don't think we would attack North Korea without them striking the U.S or South Korea first .
Althought they pose a threat I don't think North Korea wants to put itself in that situation as well .
IMHO though Kim Jong Ill is a paronoid freak . The stories coming out of there on that special " Children of the secret state " was enough to turn my stomach .

As far as Iran goes I think we will take Terahn just as quickly as Baghdad and suffer no more them 100 KIA's . As usual most will be accidents and freindly fire . It will have to be a quick and sudden strike though .
No troops at the boarder rattling sabers for 5 months . Right now we are in the political faze of rattling sabers and that's as far as we should take it . If they refuse to listen to the international community then we should fuck their shit up and set'em back a few years in the developement of WMD's .

Simple .
But Iraq was in communication with terrorists, and they were defying UN sanctioned resolutions that ended the first gulf war which you said you was in favor, by engaging in the  production of long range missles and locking out UN inspectors. Sounds pretty threatening, especially with a psychotic  in control in of the country. Don't ya think??

are you saying they were not?

I will conceed that point ( for arguement sake for now) and leave the rest of my statement as evidence of a threat from Iraq. Isn't that still enough? I am assuming you think it might be, since you didn't comment  or challenge anything else in my post.

are you saying part of Iraq was communicating with terrorists, but NOT Sadam Hussein?

I posted on another thread that I don't think NK is a threat because they don't seem to be suicidal. They know any attacks they make will mean their own destruction. The Middle East on the other hand, is insane and have no fear of dying ( basically, because they have n oreason to live ) and no fear of taking as many infidels as they can, with them. They think life doesn't start until you reach Mecca with their 70 virgins or what ever the hell it is.

This is only my perseption and I have no "wikipedia" articles to back it up. lol. But would you agree??

Yeah you must be thinking U.S. cant do shit because U.S. has to worry about pleasing people as North Korea does not have to please no one. So like Spark side you must be contradicting your self. I don't know where you live but U.S. people are not willing to sink down and to lose everything they have by engaging in a nuclear war, and plus the life style is so high here compared to N. Korea people there barely have anything to eat there is no electricity in cities and so on. So U.S. has potentially much more to lose than you imagined so don’t go ahead of your self thinking that N. Korea can’t do shit.

well, tbh, I don't know wether the US would have the military and economical strength to attack North Korea, as stretched as their armes forces are right now. Also, NK has nukes and the technology to use them.

The logic of the cold war would dictate that there will be no direct military conflict between nuclear powers.
Such a conflict would not be winnable for either side, I think that it obvious.

Moreover, why would the US want to attack NK ? Kim is no threat to US interests. Also, as has been said before, China is the regional superpower, and they'll make sure Kim doesn't fire up nukes in their neighbourhood. With their economy growing by the minute, they have every interest to keep the region stable.

So the answer to the question would be no, I guess.

actually, I wouldn't. there are lots of middle eastern countries that are peaceful towards western nations ( the US calls a lot of them their allies, if I remember correctly ). Labelling a minority as madmen doesn't get us anywhere.

None of the middle eastern nation has the military potential to even touch one of the western countries, let alone conduct a successful military campaign. That was true for Iraq and is true for Iran.
The only reason to attack Iran now is to try to prevent them from getting nukes. Once they have nukes, the whole strategic picture would change dramatically, because no one knows where a military campaign against a nuclear power would end up. It just hasn't happened yet, and my guess would be that the US and Israel will go to great lengths to prevent it from happening.

Bottom line is, if Iran managed to develop nukes, the US would not be able to function as the hegemonial superpower in the middle eastern region any more.
