as long as it DOES work as it should on nightmaps that'd be
Calling that a nerf is an understatement, the thing looks completely useless now.
Signature
Nerfed in typical DICE fashion.
Put something in that's OP, nerf it to shit and then desperetaly try to struggle for a non-existent middle way (or they don't bother with this step at all)
They just remove it, or think about these things before they stick them in a game.

Now it's completely useless and there's absolutely no reason to use it at all. Soon we'll all be using holographic sights and they'll have to nerf those just because everyone's using them. Fucking. Retarded.
What night maps, there are no night maps. That sight is going to be 100% useless in any situation now.thepilot91 wrote:

If the women don't find ya handsome. They should at least find ya handy.
Thats probably the best thing to balance something. buff something bad until its op then nerf itKampframmer wrote:

Ok, so maybe it's not that useless
Well that's annoying.
Still seems OP TBH. It's still going to be the most used attachment.

I hope you're trolling. The IRNV is the most OP thing in the game.
Any attachment that gives you the ability to see any other player clearly as long as they aren't blocked by a wall. Is an OP attachment.'
Christ the IRNV registers body heat more than things that are on fire, how does that shit work?

Well maybe what they should do is take the time to correctly give certain things more or less of a heat signature than the body of an enemy. Not just make it all blurry and make it so you're standing in a green smoke field. I think something needs to be done about it, just not to the extent that was posted in the original post.
Watch the other video, The nerf isn't that noticeable. In fact it's tough to call it a nerf, more like a gentle slap with a feather.

I think it should be removed all together. It's a noob scope.
Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.

hahaha. it's completely useless now. dice game design is so bad.

Haha, DICE thinks nerfing means rendering an attachment useless. Fail.
Oh well, I didn't use it that much anyways. I'm sure it will still have it's uses. But i'm going to hold my thoughts on it until it's infront of my face.
I have a hunch that the whole infrared system is botched from the ground up, with player signatures always being much more visible than anything else.
They need to increase the current IR signatures and add many missing more, e.g. vehicle engines and exhaust etc.
AFAIK, the latter don't exist in the game at all.
If a tank drives by, it should radiate heat and have trail of hot exhaust gases behind it, effectively covering infantry nearby.
More so for heli engines and especially jet engines.

I like that idea.globefish23 wrote:
