How come I never hear about this game other than it being one of the first few games to utilize multi-core processors? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places or it's really a piece of shit but I think it looks really cool:

On a side note, every Youtube video of it has terrible quality, none of them are even HD.

how have u not heard of this game before? If you enjoy RTS at all and havent been living under a rock for the last two years.

Its amazing, if u have a powerful rig then get it, seriously good fun. Involves a lot of resource management to get good, but great none the less.

it's good, although it dominates my computer

be prepared for extremely long battles, since many of the larger and more advanced units can take time to build (i built a battleship once that took 30 minutes real-time)

Got the expansion for 20$ on some cow-thing name website I can't remember. The bastards charged me Maryland sales tax and they ship from California, wtf. Still saved 2$ over Newegg

Still can't wait for them to get here.

Enjoyable, but not my cup of tea. I like my RTS really, really fast.

Still, having a huge tech3 arty battery pounding away at the enemies base was fun.

Not worth the money imo. Started off really excited about it and then i played it

I really liked many of the mechanics they introduced into the game but i found the game to be bland and repetitive once you got past the initial awe. Maybe it was just the people i played with

The Forged Alliance expansion improved a lot on the original.

Also, it has build templates. Thats awesome.

It is definitely a slow game. It has a great sense of scale to it though.

Well from my experience its a slow game.

Any game can be a fast game if you just rush.

Not sure how you build experimentals etc in 15m. And a game of all T1/2 is pretty boring.

lol, if u get to the experimental stage then u guys arent fighting enough, just turtling. Personally I love turtling, I dont have the skills to micro manage all of the resources to do it fast. But even if pros get to a stalemate in T1/2, which does sometimes happen, they will have experimentals by 20-25 mins and the game will be over in 30.

Just coz u and I aren't fast doesnt mean the game isnt.
