I am finished with almost all of the filming for my movie and now i am getting to the editing. i have found that for the caliber of movie that i am aiming for windows movie maker just doesn't cut it. it has to few options and it lowers the qualitiy of the movie.

so can some one pm/post a good video editing program i can get for free?

Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas are the best. But they're damn expensive.

But then again, you can get anything free...

I use Premiere Pro 2.0, it's pretty damn good, but it takes a lot of time to get the hang of.

final cut pro FTW.  however, if i'm stuck editing on a pc, vegas is good stuff.

You do know you can save it at multiple resolution and quality levels don't you?

For other programs, same as those listed in the posts before mine, though I prefer macs for photo/movie editing.
