I was just looking at the back of my BF2 box while reinstalling and noticed that there is a picture of Dalian Plant with an F/18 chasing a J-10... Odd since there are no F/18's on the map. And not on any air craft carrier maps for that matter.

Just a simple observation.

Daqing doesn't have cooling towers or construction cranes. Pretty sure it's Dalian (look at my most played map).

I do believe you have confused the image of Dalian Plant with the map setting of Daqing Oilfields.  Daqing does not have an aircraft carrier, but Dalian does, and that's what's on the back of the box.  Problem solved!

dam, that's awesome! I wonder why they changed it? jets on mashtur would be cool, I guess that is what all those extra bridges and villages are for in mashtur. They should have a no jet option or something and then let the server decide.

Eagles that is an awesome set of posts. Great effort.


IMO the original Mashtuur and Karkand looked way better. and im just talking about the maps - take out the jets and rocket pods and i still reckon they would have kicked ass. Oh well.
