That does remind me of something actually. The late 50's white guy who has a sophomore homeroom in my room has gotten very serious about the pledge of allegiance this year. He is Ukrainian-America so maybe he feels some sort of way about patriotism. He makes them all stand for the flag (what I would make them do) but also makes them put their hand on their heart, put the cellphones down, and look at the flag. I wouldn't make them do any of that. And now I have to do it too since I can't contradict the other guy.
