Yes, yes it did
Dude the British Museum in London is really awesome. Not enough time to see it all. I saw a stone tablet recording a 13th century Indian mortgage

A 23 year old from California was gored at the running of bulls today.
Ken?

Ken is a bit older than that I think.

I don't really begrudge the bulls an occasional kill in that circus of blood.coke wrote:

Bullfighting is a legitimate sport and an important cultural practice of Spain. The matadors are brave men willing to risk their lives for our entertainment. It's a tragedy every time one of these brave men are killed by a bull.
It's barbaric. And it sure as hell isn't a sport - it's spectacle.
If they want to do it and claim it's for cultural reasons, fine, but I'm not going to endorse it

Plenty of things that are done for cultural reasons probably shouldn't be done. Also, Macbeth is so predictable at this point that his trolling has lost all of its shock value.
Obviuos is obivuos

Why are you such a pussy? Would you rather the bull be killed in a factory farm? At least the bull had a full and healthy life before dying doing what it was born to do.pirana6 wrote:

If they want a bloody spectacle were brave men can prove themselves in combat, they should reinstate gladiator fights.
Man against man, gladius and shield against trident and net.

hi guys
You of all people should know the importance of the bull as a symbol to that culture – in fact to most western cultures. the ritual killing of the bull is something that extends back thousands of years into myth. I'm not saying it's not cruel or isn't a spectacle for American tourists, but there's more to it than mere violence and sadism.globefish23 wrote:

i was surprised at the amount of americans in pamplona. That being said, it's still an overwhelming spanish majority. I was also surprised that most hamburgers there are made from bull meat, not cow.
I ran on 7/13. I made it all the way into the stadium. It was awesome. The adrenaline rush of the run itself and being greeted by 15,000 people when you make it into the stadium in indescribable. Couldn't bring myself to watch any of the bullfights though.
