I don't remember the msn gaming zone aoe too well. I have been playing aoehd since release and noticed how far they came along to getting online to work. It used to lag like hell, and drop all the time. They turned it around and I don't mind rewarding them with a dlc purchase even if I am going to not play for at least a month.

Is Ron, aomhd, aoehd, all owned by the same company currently?

never used msn gaming zone but i tried with a friend on gameranger, hamachi, and maybe 2 other services. always bad. never could find a solution.

yea, its all owned by microsoft. skybox labs and some others i think made the hd updates.

looking foward to the aom expansion

It may be far too early to guess. We may just have to wait a couple of years for the announcement. So let me revise my earlier comment to "go finish Skyrim, the DLC, and try out its legion of quality mods." I have 200+ hours into it and I'm not even near done, to say nothing of Fallout 3 or New Vegas.

Not sure what a declining MMO that still has millions of subscribers has to do with whether or not Bethesda will just convert the Elder Scrolls into permanent MMO shovelware with under a million(?) current subscribers for ESO.

Why do you have fallout 1 and 2 on that list?

Bethesda had a nothing to do with the series until they screwed it up with 3.

I put the Fallouts in there because they're a part of the Fallout series and fit the on again off again pattern. I don't know, what do you want from me? It's a short list on a slow game forum. Did I even get the years right? I don't remember looking them up. I probably looked them up. Want to check for me so I can put it in an update?

Not that I played much of Fallout 3 to be defending it, but have fun with being in the minority there. What did they screw up? The title screen? The music? The ongoing hiatus between games? Not enough bugs? Not a lot to work with.

I appreciate the fact that it isn't another "kill the Russian/terrorist/etc" game but there doesn't seem to be much more to it than "get to point X, kill monsters along the way".

Got a little over a hour into Fallout 4. The gun play is 100% better than 3/NV. It feels like you can skip using vats.

The only issue is that the story is unmotivating. Unless you are in a shootout, the game feels like a chore. It's going to be hard to find the interest to move forward. It doesn't help that the protagonist voices his lines and seems completely uninterested in the story himself.

Disagree. No I haven't.

The gunplay is a lot better like I have said but being stuck with 4 dialogue options, having to sit through boring conversations, the camera going berserk in the middle of the conversation, the inability to interact with a lot of characters, and more are very demoralizing.

I have less than 2 hours on steam and I might just refund it.

never really cared about dialogue. was never as good as mass effect

its more being a shitty engine than bugs. settlement building is fun yet hilariously bad. I have to unlock perks I find useless, since they depend on using dogmeat or no companion at all, to be able to let settlements trade. its dumb as hell
