For Long Haul I just built a fairly long trapezoidal ship, with engine, sail, paddle, sail, coal bunker and iron materials. Used sails exclusively out a few thousand miles, then put away the sails and switched the engine onto slow as the wind gets to 0 at about 4000 and then reverses.
Act of Aggression is looking cool, I hope it is a positive comeback to real time strategy games. I have been missing a new good RTS for awhile and Act of Aggression is promising.

SWTOR.

Nope
Anyone think ESO Tamriel Unlimited is worth 20 dollars?
If it were me, I'd wait for ES6.
I'm surprised anybody thinks there will be an ES6. They never made another Warcraft after WoW or another KotOR after The Old Republic. All of their ideas for new content in those universes goes right into the MMOs rather than put towards a new game.
They've never said they weren't making another Elder Scrolls. There's no reason to think it won't be made. Here's a timeline:
'94 - ES Arena
'96 - ES Daggerfall
'97 - FO
'98 - FO2
'02 - ES Morrowind
'06 - ES Oblivion
'08 - FO3
'10 - FONV
'11 - ES Skyrim
'14 - ES Online
'15 - FO4
It may be far too early to guess. We may just have to wait a couple of years for the announcement. So let me revise my earlier comment to "go finish Skyrim, the DLC, and try out its legion of quality mods." I have 200+ hours into it and I'm not even near done, to say nothing of Fallout 3 or New Vegas.
Not sure what a declining MMO that still has millions of subscribers has to do with whether or not Bethesda will just convert the Elder Scrolls into permanent MMO shovelware with under a million(?) current subscribers for ESO.

So this is what 20 years of building upon the doom engine had led to? I would have loved to see how people would have reacted to that in '93.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Well, Elder Scrolls Online is set before the events of elder scrolls 5 if I remember correctly compared to say Old Republic and WoW whose stories are set after KOTOR and WC respectively._j5689_ wrote:

I haven't finished Skyrim or FO3, never started NV. Debating if I should get GTA V now while it is 40% off, or wait until the Christmas sales start. I have plenty of other games to hold me over that I either haven't started or haven't finished.
I loved FO3 and Oblivion. Skyrim was very good but threw me off a bit... I didnt ger behind NV so much... I too wonder if I should get GTA, especially when FO4 is on its way and I'll def get that.

GTA is so overrated and the online is fucking terrible. Do not recommend.
I preordered F4 and am sad there wasn't some pre-order bonus thing like they did with NV.
Also bought AOE: Africa. Not going to play it for a few months though.

aoe3 complete collection is on steam sale. I'm tempted but I'll pass this time around
How often do you play online in 2? They keep adding new things and changing the interface in a way that really stretches the code to make work. 1 probably won't sell enough to be worth the trouble. Especially since DLC is super easy to push/makeRTHKI wrote:
its just 2 and 3. i love 1 but its missing so many nice things that 2 has. duno why its not on steam yet.
and 2 > 3
i only play with friends so i dont care much about balance. havent played online recently though. people said online worked better through the nonsteam version but for me it always was a lagfest. steam version eventually got a lot better in that aspect.
they released rise of nations though.
honestly what i want is aoe1 modded into aoe2

No pre-order bonus for Fallout 4 is kind of nice. Seeing that cynical little sales pitch that gouges collectors and completionists removed leaves a warm feeling in my heart, and doesn't make me feel rushed to go right out and buy it before seeing how it is early on. I wouldn't mind seeing less pre-order nonsense in the future.
