Really dig this game. Going to play the fuck out of it this week. It is hard to play as Trevor though. Very annoying character.

in addition to being a backstabber michael is a boring character. i don't like him. Spoiler (highlight to read):
I was tempted to kill him when I had the option as Franklin towards the end of the game. I was wary that it might stop me from beating the game 100% and my suspicions were confirmed after visiting a few message boards.

loaded the game as franklin, switched to trevor to find him wasted on an tiny island, in just his undies with four dead bodies surrounded him. this guy knows how to party.

I was wondering the forest near a hunting mission and this cat (mountain lion?) appeared on the map and attacked like they normally do (apparently, it's the first time I've even seen one). Having no weapon equipped I just smacked him one, the red dot went and since then he hasn't tried to attack me and follows me everywhere harmlessly.

Sure would be nice to be able to play online sometime. Had to make a new character because the last one didn't save since I couldn't join a session. Now I just get stuck "waiting for players" when doing that initial tutorial race.

Then again, even their stupid social club was having issues on release day.

Well it seems to be working fine now, fuckin awesome. We could do with a few of us getting together one night to wreck shit, hard to trust randoms, too many backstabbers.

Hard to get people to join for the missions. Everyone just wants to fuck around in freemode. Still runs like crap and had to reset the PS3 a few times because of the game locked up while loading. Would be cool if these issues were resolved.

Agreed. Think there were a lot of server issues yesterday causing theses freezes.

Found out you could pay invite only or solo mode to mess around and make basic money, but couldn't do any missions
